Greetings,
This is my first Blog. I have always wanted to write and now I am doing it. I think that it is appropriate that for my first blog I keep it short and sweet. On Friday June 13 we lost a great American. Tim Russert passed away of a heart attack while preparing this week's edition of Meet The Press. Without a doubt Mr. Russert was the epitome of a great newsman. His interviews were hard-hitting and to the point. He never let his personal opinions affect a story. He asked hard but honest questions and expected honest answers. He was always prepared and went the whole nine yards. He was a fine example of the American Dream come true. A man from middle class America who worked his way to the top of his profession. By all accounts a man who did not forget where he came from and knew where he was going. The consummate family man, husband and father. Our Sunday mornings will never be the same.
God Speed Mr. Russert, America will miss you-but never forget you.
